One of the reservations arguing against hosting of this wiki was concern that incorrect or misleading information may be posted. Certainly an Internet search engine query can find many examples of egregiously wrong explanations and code samples. A recommended coding technique or sample may "work" for the poster, in a specific and limited set of circumstances, but still be sub-optimal due to security issues, use of deprecated or internal features, or be wrong for various other subtle reasons.
So, any content posted here will be subject to correction by any OpenSSl team member. Ideally that intervention will take the form of a full and complete editorial revision, but in practice it may be a note stating that the content has a yet unspecified errors.
The firstname.lastname@example.org mailing list will be seen by all moderators (sysops in MediaWiki-speak).
